Healthcare United is seeking a BC/BE nocturnist for a permanent opportunity in northwestern Illinois. This role offers $350,000–$420,000 annually and a predictable 7-on/7-off schedule. The nocturnist covers a team of three daytime hospitalists, with an average hospital census of 45 and approximately seven admissions per night.
Job Responsibilities
• Cover the daytime hospitalist team overnight
• Coordinate care, handoffs, and documentation
• Support an average census of approximately 45 patients
Qualifications
• Illinois license or eligibility
• Strong inpatient clinical and communication skills
Working Hours
• Tuesday-to-Tuesday rotation
• 7 PM–7 AM
• Approximately seven admissions nightly
