Join WCS Healthcare Partners as a dedicated and skilled physician in Torrington. This role is perfect for professionals who excel in dynamic and collaborative environments, particularly those who prefer working overnight shifts in a hospital setting. You will be instrumental in managing patient care and ensuring smooth operations during nighttime hours.
Responsibilities
- Work in a closed ICU environment, overseeing the Rapid Response Team (RRT) and their codes.
- Manage ICU transfers from the hospitalist floor to the ICU and vice versa if necessary.
- Handle approximately 6-8 patient admissions per shift.
- Collaborate with one other nocturnist and receive support from Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
- Operate within a single hospital setting.
Requirements
- Must be Board Eligible (BE) or Board Certified (BC) in Internal Medicine (IM).
- Connecticut (CT) License required.
