WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a dedicated and skilled physician to join our team as a nocturnist. This role involves working in a dynamic hospital environment, providing exceptional care to patients during nighttime hours. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality medical services and collaborating effectively with a team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the Rapid Response Team (RRT) and manage their codes.
- Responsible for coordinating ICU transfers from the hospitalist floor to ICU and vice versa, if necessary.
- Admit approximately 6-8 patients per shift.
- Collaborate with a team of 3 other nocturnists and receive support from Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
- Work exclusively out of one hospital.
Requirements
- Must be Board Eligible (BE) or Board Certified (BC) in Internal Medicine (IM).
- Connecticut (CT) License required.
- Available for a permanent full-time role.
