We are hiring for a nocturnist physician. A nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.
Local Team Collaboration:
- Become part of a cohesive and long-standing team of 14 physicians and 3 advanced practitioners with the support of a practice coordinator and clinical performance nurse at Henry Ford Genesys Hospital.
- We take pride in our relationship with the hospital and are involved in committees ranging from CHF to mortality.
- We meet monthly for team meetings and internal staff meetings. These are intended to update the team on hospital or group initiatives, discuss barriers, and highlight providers making a difference.
- We proudly support both H1 and J1 Visa Candidates who can take advantage of Sound’s excellent in-house visa specialists and our licensing and credentialing experts. All required filing fees for the visa are paid, and services are covered by Sound.
Qualifications:
- Board-certified/eligible in family or internal medicine.
- New graduates, residents, and fellows are encouraged to apply.
Scheduling:
- Our nocturnists work a 7 on / 7 off rotation. The shifts are 7 pm - 7 am.
Key Responsibilities:
- We welcome the challenge of complex cases. There is a closed ICU with intensivist coverage. Our team is not expected to do procedures.
- Residents run codes and rapids, and our team attends to our patients
