**Facility:**
This healthcare system features a 330-bed tertiary care hospital that serves as a Level I Trauma Center with a 24-bed emergency department and helicopter support. The facility has been ranked among America's Top 100 Hospitals and Fracture Care Programs, has a dedicated EMR/EPIC system, and is certified as HIMSS EMRAM Level 7 for both Inpatient and Ambulatory facilities. It serves an area of approximately 500,000 people and includes a children's hospital within the medical center.

Board Certified/Board Eligible - Orthopedics
**Job Details:**
• Orthopedic Nocturnist position covering evening/night call from 4 PM to 7 AM at a level 1 trauma center • Approximately 180 weekday and weekend shifts/year with flexible scheduling options • Schedule possibilities include two weeks on/two weeks off, one week on/one week off, or other agreed upon models • Supported by four fellowship-trained orthopedic trauma surgeons with 7 days/week coverage and dedicated trauma rooms • Additional support from 14 subspecialty trained orthopedic surgeons (oncology, hand, foot/ankle, shoulder, adult reconstruction, pediatric) • Call is supported by APP group who take call 24/7 and answer in-house and outside patient calls • No Spine call responsibilities (covered by neurosurgery) • No office/clinic responsibility, hospital rounding, or requirement to respond to hospital codes • Call can be taken from home • Expectation to see orthopedic admissions and high energy trauma patients per discretion of in-house general surgery trauma team • Hip fractures admitted by hospitalist team • Anticipated case volume of 0-2 cases per shift
**Compensation:**
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
