Role Overview

The Forensic Neuropsychologist will conduct neuropsychological assessments, evaluate individuals with traumatic brain injuries, and provide expert consultation and testimony for legal cases. The role includes administering and interpreting neuropsychological tests, conducting detailed clinical interviews, documenting findings, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Job Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for clinical and forensic purposes
Administer, score, and interpret standardized neuropsychological assessments
Evaluate cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning related to neurological and psychiatric conditions
Provide expert opinions and testimony in both civil and criminal cases
Develop and document detailed reports and treatment recommendations
Consult and collaborate with healthcare providers, legal teams, and rehabilitation professionals
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethical standards

Qualifications

Qualifications

Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology or Neuropsychology
Minimum two years of postdoctoral training in Clinical Neuropsychology
ABPP-CN certification or eligibility required
Demonstrated expertise in neuropsychological assessment and interpretation
Experience working with traumatic brain injury (TBI) populations
Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
Ability to provide balanced evaluations for both plaintiff and defense cases
Willingness to consult on CPCS (Committee for Public Counsel Services) cases
