Physician - Neurology - NeuromuscularJob Details:
- Focus on treating patients with neuromuscular disorders such as neuropathy, myasthenia gravis, and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)
- Practice within the Ayer Neuroscience Institute at locations in Hartford and Torrington, a large multispecialty and multidisciplinary ambulatory site
- Work in a collaborative, physician-led environment with nationally respected colleagues
- Perform electromyography (EMG) studies
- Participate in the NCS technician training program
- Collaborate on the neuromuscular clinical council to develop care paradigms, advance quality initiatives, promote patient experience, and identify opportunities for research and innovation
- Help develop a neuromuscular ultrasound service line
- Opportunity to develop clinical research within a progressive practice environment
- Access to professional development and wellbeing support through the HHC Provider Leadership Development Institute and the Office of Provider Wellness
- Neurology residency, Neurophysiology fellowship, and Neuromuscular fellowship required
