Location: Baton Rouge LA - the Capital of Louisiana - the metropolitan area is the second-largest in Louisiana with a population of 800 000 plus residents. City is adjacent to the Mississippi River and has two major universities - Louisiana State and Southern University. Just over one hour to New Orleans. Facility: Group is a multi-specialty neuroscience private practice that has over 30 physicians including neurosurgeons neurologists physical medicine & rehabilitation/pain physicians neuropsychologists and neuroradiologists. Their main clinic has an in-house imaging center with 2 MRI's and a neurodiagnostic lab (EEG EMG/NCS ultrasound echo) sleep lab outpatient physical therapy and occupational therapy departments. Included on our campus are our own physician owned surgical hospital and a inpatient rehabilitation hospital. Opportunity: Seeking a Neurologist regardless of sub-specialty training with epilepsy and neuromuscular training being highly desired. Large neurology department so call is minimal. Monday through Friday schedule with inpatient and outpatient roles - can be all outpatient if desired. Compensation: First year guarantee with second year being production - average income $350 000 and more once partnered. Neurologists are eligible to become stockholders after 2 years with minimal buy-in and will also have opportunity to participate/invest in our physician-owned Rehabilitation and Surgical Hospitals.
