A physician-led, hospital-affiliated medical group in New York's Capital Region is seeking full-time Outpatient Neurologists to join its expanding neurology department, with offices in Albany and a nearby suburb.
Highlights:
• Primarily outpatient general neurology with some inpatient rounding/consults
• EMG/NCS and EEG; sleep study reads available
• Shared rotational call
• Opportunity to develop a neuromuscular or epilepsy focus
• Collaboration with an MS/headache center and hospitalist teams
• Modern facility and strong mentorship
Compensation & Benefits:
• Base salary $340,000–$360,000
• $25,000 starting bonus; $15,000 retention bonus at 2 years
• Productivity, quality and extra-shift incentives
• CME allowance $4,500 + 5 paid CME days
• 27 days paid time off
• Paid malpractice with tail; health, dental, vision
• 403(b) with match; relocation up to $25,000; PSLF eligible

Job Responsibilities
• Round and consult on inpatients at an affiliated hospital
• Perform EMG/NCS and EEG; read sleep studies as available
• Participate in shared call
• Collaborate with MS/headache and hospitalist teams
• Mentor newer clinicians
Qualifications
• Board Certified in Neurology
• Fellowship training highly preferred (neuromuscular, epilepsy, etc.)
• Able to perform EMG/NCS and EEG
• New York license (or willing to obtain)
• Active DEA
• Clean malpractice history preferred
• Permanent role – not open to locums; no visa sponsorship
