Clinical Role RecruitWell is seeking a Neurologist for a permanent hospital-based opportunity in Spokane, Washington. This role includes evaluation and management of a broad range of acute and chronic neurologic conditions, including stroke, seizure disorders, encephalopathy, headaches, cognitive disorders, neuromuscular disease, and movement disorders.

Assignment Details

• Permanent position

• Hospital-based Neurology practice

• Schedule details: TBD

• Approximately 12–18 patients per day

• 388-bed hospital

Position Highlights

• Broad inpatient Neurology case mix

• Acute stroke care

• Stroke code responsibilities

• Epic EMR

• Hospital-based practice

• Spine experience preferred

Clinical Details & Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage acute ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke

• Run stroke codes

• Manage epilepsy and seizure disorders

• Evaluate encephalopathy and altered mental status

• Treat headache and migraine requiring inpatient evaluation

• Manage dementia and cognitive disorders with acute presentations

• Evaluate and treat neuromuscular disorders

• Manage movement disorders

• Collaborate with hospital-based multidisciplinary teams

• Complete timely clinical documentation

Procedures & Skills

• Stroke code management required

• Spine experience preferred

• Broad inpatient Neurology experience

Support & Technology

• 388-bed hospital

• EMR: Epic

• Hospital-based clinical environment

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology

• Board Certification required within 1 year of start

• Active Washington medical license required

• Completion of a U.S. Neurology residency required

• Must be comfortable independently managing acute inpatient neurologic conditions
