Behavioral/Cognitive Neurologist – Detroit, MI
Position Overview
* Full-time, employed position
* 100% outpatient Behavioral/Cognitive Neurology
* Leadership opportunity as Division Head
* Target start: Fall 2026 (2027 start available for the right candidate)
* Replacement position
Qualifications
* MD/DO
* Board Certified in Neurology
* Completion of a Behavioral Neurology Fellowship
* Michigan medical license
* BLS, DEA, CSR/CDS
* Minimum of 4 years of Behavioral/Cognitive Neurology experience
* Completion of an ACGME/AOA-accredited Neurology residency
* Previous leadership experience preferred
Practice Highlights
* Adult and geriatric patient population
* Average 6–8 patients per day
* Lead the Center for Cognitive Health
* Clinical leadership and research opportunities
* Active clinical trials and translational neuroscience research
* Teach medical students, neurology residents, and behavioral neurology fellows
* Endowed Chair position (Paul C. Alandt Endowed Chair of Behavioral Neurology)
* Tenure-track academic appointment available
* EPIC EMR
* Night call 1–2 times per month
* Weekend call 1–2 times per year
