Located in Austin, TX
With Board Certification (or Board Eligibility if within 2 years of residency)
Full-time; Permanent position
Overview
This is a full-time outpatient clinical role that involves direct clinical sessions, divided between ambulatory visits, e-consults/reviews, and the conduction of EEGs/EMGs
Ten percent of clinical time is allocated to administrative tasks
Diagnoses and treats diseases, disorders, and injuries based on the patient’s medical history and physical assessment results
Instructs patients and their families regarding procedures performed, home care, and follow-up visits
Directs and supervises advanced practice providers as needed
Supports, leads, and models the vision, mission, and values of Central Health
Plans, promotes, demonstrates, recommends, and coordinates high standards of medical practice
Helps design clinical workflows to improve access to care, support evidence-based practice, and improve efficiency
