Healthcare United is seeking a Neurohospitalist for a full-time, permanent inpatient neurology practice in northern Illinois, near Cherry Valley. This opportunity focuses on neurology care within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
Clinical responsibilities include Provide inpatient neurology consultations and daily rounding; Manage acute and complex neurological conditions; Coordinate care with hospitalists, intensivists and nursing teams. The provider will coordinate patient care with clinical colleagues and practice within their licensed and credentialed scope.
Qualified applicants should bring appropriate specialty training and credentials and a collaborative approach to patient care. MD or DO Completion of an accredited Neurology residency program in the United States. Specific practice expectations and onboarding needs will be reviewed with qualified applicants.
The published compensation range is $383,394–$427,897 annually. The role includes 7-on/7-off inpatient schedule; no outpatient clinic. Remote pager call from home after daily onsite responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities
• Manage acute and complex neurological conditions
• Coordinate care with hospitalists, intensivists and nursing teams
• Support discharge planning and appropriate outpatient follow-up
Qualifications
• Completion of an accredited Neurology residency program in the United States
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurology
• Active Illinois medical license or ability to obtain before hire
• Active DEA registration or ability to obtain before hire
• Inpatient neurology or stroke-care experience preferred
• No visa sponsorship at this time
