Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a civilian Neurologist at Harry S Truman Memorial Veteran's Hospital (HSTVAMC) in Columbia, MO.
Details:
Full-time position
Monday - Friday 0730 - 1630
On-call required
Freedom from Malpractice Insurance Worries
Outpatient environment with consultation for inpatient services and stroke coverage when on-call
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years' of neurologic clinical experience required
BLS required
Board certification or Board eligible through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) or Americal Osteopathic Board of Neurolofy and Psychiatry.
Current, full Unrestricted Medical License to practice in any of the 50 states, territory, or commonwealth of the United States or the DIstrict of Columbia.
Responsibilities:
Examine, diagnose, and treat diseases and disorders of the nervous system.
Provide immediate evaluation and management of emergency problems as they occur.
Capable of performing lumbar punctures, interpreting nerve conduction studies and electromyography.
Perform evoked potentials and electroencephalograms.
Capable of providing chemo denervation (such as botulinum toxin injections) for common neurological conditions.
