Neurology – The Berkshires of Western Massachusetts
- An established and growing Neurology practice in Western Massachusetts is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurologist to join its dedicated team of Neurologists and APPs.
- This is an excellent opportunity for a General Neurologist or subspecialist to build a busy practice while enjoying strong clinical support, opportunities for mentorship and teaching, and an excellent quality of life in the Berkshires.
Practice Highlights
- Established community-based Neurology practice serving patients throughout Berkshire County
- General Neurologists and subspecialists are welcome
- New graduates are encouraged to apply and will receive mentorship and support
- New physicians can quickly develop a full patient panel thanks to strong referral volume
- Outpatient practice based at a single location
- Joint Commission-certified Stroke Center
- 24/7 acute stroke coverage provided through Mass General Hospital, with no stroke call required
- Current physician call schedule is approximately one weeknight per week and one weekend per month
- Dedicated MA or LPN support for each provider
- Opportunity to perform a variety of procedures, including:
- EMG and Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS)
- Lumbar punctures
- Skin biopsies
- Botox injections
- Trigger-point injections
- Occipital nerve blocks
- Other procedures based on your interests and training
- Opportunities for teaching, clinical research, and leadership
- Academic appointment may be available
