Neurologist – General Neurology | EMG Focus Opportunity
Location: Jacksonville & Macon, FL/GA
Join a multidisciplinary healthcare organization focused on neurological, spine, and pain-related conditions. We are seeking a Neurologist to provide comprehensive neurological evaluations, diagnostic expertise, and ongoing patient management within a collaborative outpatient environment.
This full-time opportunity is ideal for a physician who enjoys complex diagnostic cases, meaningful patient relationships, and working alongside other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform comprehensive neurological consultations and examinations
• Evaluate and diagnose neurological conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nervous system
• Interpret diagnostic testing and develop individualized treatment plans
• Manage medications, therapies, and ongoing neurological care
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses and treatment options
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical teams across related specialties
Jacksonville candidates should have demonstrated EMG proficiency, recent electrodiagnostic experience, and the ability to perform approximately 16 EMGs per day.
Qualifications
• MD or DO degree
• Completion of Neurology residency
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
• Strong diagnostic reasoning and clinical communication skills
• Experience managing neurological conditions in an outpatient setting
