WPA Medicine Staffing is seeking a BC/BE Neurologist for an outpatient neurology opportunity in Cumberland, Maryland. This is a general neurology position providing care to an established patient population as well as new referrals. The provider will work independently in the outpatient clinic with no call responsibilities.

Assignment Highlights

• Start Date: January 1, 2027
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
• Estimated Commitment: Approximately 20 shifts/month
• Setting: Outpatient Neurology Clinic
• Patient Population: 100% Adult
• Average Volume: 18–20 patients per shift
• EMR: Epic
• Call: None
• Solo Practice: Yes — no APP/mid-level coverage
• EEG: Approximately 2–3 EEGs per day requiring interpretation
• General "bread and butter" neurology with both new and established patients
• Provider will assume responsibility for a portion of the existing patient panel and new referrals

Required Experience & Skills

• BC/BE Neurologist
• MD
• Active Maryland license preferred; candidates needing to obtain a Maryland license will be considered
• MD DEA
• MD CSR
• BLS
• Minimum 3 years of experience
• EMG experience is required
• Candidates must be comfortable providing the following services:
  • EMGs
  • EEG interpretation
  • VNS management
  • Botox
  • Baclofen pump management

• Movement disorders
• Multiple sclerosis
• ALS
• Migraine
• Stroke
• General neurology

January 2027 availability is required.
