Med Ninjas is seeking a Neurologist for long term locum tenens coverage at a outpatient facility located in Albany, NY
The Physician must be available for the complete coverage block from Start Date to end date
Permanent Outpatient Neurologist
Position Type: Permanent

Shift: Monday-Friday, outpatient clinic hours

Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult neurology patients
Setting: Outpatient neurology clinics in Albany and Clifton Park, with inpatient rounding and consultation at Samaritan Hospital in Troy
Responsibilities: Provide general neurological care, participate in inpatient rounding and consultations, perform EMG/NCS and EEG procedures, read sleep studies as available, participate in shared rotational call, and collaborate with MS Headache Center and Hospitalist teams
Required Procedures: EMG/NCS and EEG; general neurology care
EMR System: Not specified
Support Staff: Physician-led neurology team, counselors, hospitalist teams, and other healthcare professionals
Days Per Month: Full-time, Monday-Friday
On-Call/Weekends: Shared rotational call; weekend requirements not explicitly specified
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified in Neurology
- Fellowship training highly preferred
- NY State Medical License or willing to obtain
- DEA License and ability to perform EMG/NCS and EEG
