Locums – Cumberland, Maryland, Neurology Job

• Start Date: January 1, 2027

• Coverage Needed: 1 locum Neurologist

• Estimated Shifts: Approximately 20 shifts/month

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

• Minimum Experience: 3 years

• Call: No call

• Practice Setting: Outpatient Neurology Clinic

• Solo Practice: Yes

• APP/Mid-Level Coverage: None

• Maryland medical license

• License not required to apply

• Candidates needing to obtain a Maryland license will be considered

• DEA required

• CSR required

• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Neurology

• BLS required

Candidate must be comfortable with:

• General/bread-and-butter Neurology

• Outpatient Neurology

• EMGs — required

• Reading outpatient EEGs — required

• Managing new and established patients

• Working independently

Providers with experience in the following are also of interest:

• VNS

• EEG

• Botox

• Baclofen Pumps

• Approximately 18–20 patients per shift

• Patient volume varies depending on the number of new vs. established patients

• Approximately 2–3 EEGs per day requiring interpretation

• Movement Disorders

• Multiple Sclerosis

• ALS

• Migraine

• Stroke

• Level III Trauma Center

• All medical subspecialties available onsite except Rheumatology and Genetics

• Physician will assume responsibility for a portion of the existing patient panel

• New patient referrals generated through an established referral network

• Primary focus is general outpatient Neurology

• EMR: Epic
