Headache Medicine Neurologist opening in Rapid City, SD Full-Time | Outpatient Neurology | Monday-Friday | No Call A well-established Neuroscience Center in Rapid City, South Dakota is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Neurologist with fellowship training in Headache Medicine to help establish and grow a dedicated Headache Medicine program. • Plans to add 2-3 full-time Headache Medicine specialists to the neurology service line
• Full-time Headache Medicine practice available
• Option for a blended Headache Medicine and General Neurology practice if preferred
• Monday-Friday schedule
• No call required
• Inpatient neurology coverage provided by a fully staffed 24-hour Neurohospitalist service
• Comprehensive neuroscience program located on a busy tertiary care campus serving a 5-state region
• Subspecialty support includes neurovascular/stroke, movement disorders, epilepsy, neuroimmunology, neurohospitalists, and neurointerventional services
• Regional sleep center and hospital-based infusion center available
• Plans to create an in-department neurology infusion center
• Primary Stroke Center with thrombectomy capability
• Program working toward Comprehensive Stroke Center status and Level III epilepsy center status
• Epilepsy Monitoring Unit planned

• Base salary: $425,000
• Productivity bonus incentives available from day one

• MD or DO
• Board Eligible or Board Certified
• Fellowship training in Headache Medicine required
• Neurology residency training preferred
• Fellowship-trained Headache Medicine specialists from other training backgrounds may be considered
• South Dakota medical license or eligibility
• Interest in outpatient Headache Medicine program development
• Strong communication, collaboration, and patient-care skills
