Job description
We are seeking a qualified professional to replace a departing Neurologist who is leaving to start their own practice.
Job Function
The successful candidate will join a team of three other neurologists, with a call schedule of 1:4 for both weekdays and weekends. This involves phone calls only, unless the physician chooses to go in. The position is primarily outpatient, working out of one clinic, with limited inpatient consult work. There is no stroke work in the ER, as we have Acute Telestroke available 24/7. We are looking for a general neurologist, but there is potential to develop subspecialties.
Responsibilities
- Provide care primarily in an outpatient setting.
- Participate in a call schedule of 1:4 for both weekdays and weekends.
- Conduct limited inpatient consult work.
- Utilize hospital facilities including EMG, NCS, LP, skin biopsies, Botox and TPI, ONB.
- Read EEGs, which are performed in the hospital.
Requirements
- Must be Board Eligible/Board Certified (BE/BC).
- Will consider candidates needing sponsorship.
