• Provide inpatient neurology consultation and 24-hour unrestricted call coverage.
• Position is strictly call-based and requires reporting to the hospital only when called in.
• Follow-up rounding the following morning may be required after an overnight call.
• Provide neurological evaluation and management for adult and geriatric patients.
• Collaborate with hospitalists and other specialty teams to provide comprehensive neurological care.

Job Responsibilities
• Respond to urgent neurological consultations and hospital calls.
• Evaluate and manage acute stroke and neurological conditions.
• Provide NeuroInterventional consultations.
• Participate in NeuroInterventional procedures as required and within privileges.
• Perform inpatient neurological rounding and follow-up as needed.
• Collaborate with hospitalists, ICU teams, and other specialists.
• Provide timely recommendations for diagnosis and treatment.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in Epic EMR.
• Provide evidence-based care to adult and geriatric patients.
Qualifications
• Board Certified in Neurology required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience required.
• Active Oregon medical license required.
• Recent documentation of clinical/surgical services representative of requested privileges required.
• Training logs may be accepted for physicians who completed training within the previous year.
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required.
• Must meet applicable hospital credentialing and privileging requirements.
Working Hours
• Shift: 7:00 AM–7:00 AM.
• Physician reports onsite only when called in.
• Follow-up rounding the following morning may be required.
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation required.
Skills
• Stroke consultation and management.
• NeuroInterventional consultation skills.
• NeuroInterventional procedure experience.
• Inpatient rounding skills.
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making.
• Ability to respond effectively to urgent neurological cases.
• Epic EMR proficiency.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
