Neurohospitalist Locums Job in Georgia | December and Ongoing

One of our partnering hospitals is seeking Neurohospitalist coverage beginning mid-December and ongoing, 14 days per month. Locums will be working alongside 1 other Neurohospitalist and APP.

Job Details:
--Coverage: Neurohospitalist locums 14 days per month
--Start: mid-December (as soon as credentialed) and ongoing for at least 6 months, until new full-time physician is hired
--Shifts: Monday - Sunday, 10 hour days in hospital
--No night call
--Patient volume: 20-25 per day, shared between locum, 1 Neurology attending and 2 APP's
--Required Procedures: Read diagnostic and continuous EEG's
--Locums will be doing consults and rounds on hospital Neurology patients

Candidate Requirements:
--Must be Board Certified in Neurology and/or Vascular Neurology
--Minimum of 1 year experience in inpatient Neurology setting
--Fellowship trained in Clinical Neurophysiology or Epilepsy preferred but not required
--Active GA license and DEA required, will accept IMLC candidates

Facility Details:
--Support staff: 1 Neurology attending, 2 APP's on each shift
--3-4 month full privileging and credentialing process, will start as soon as completed
--Beds: 600+
--Comprehensive stroke center
--EMR: Epic
