Clienta growing physician-led private neurology practice serving the Greater San Jose and Silicon Valley area, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurohospitalist or Client/Stroke Neurologist to join its expanding team.
This position offers a balanced practice model combining inpatient neurology with outpatient neuroClient and general neurology care. The role is designed to provide meaningful clinical responsibility while maintaining a sustainable schedule and strong work-life balance.
The physician will primarily provide inpatient neurological care while maintaining a dedicated outpatient clinic focused on stroke, neuroClient, and general neurology patients.
A key benefit of this position is the absence of traditional call responsibilities. Emergent and after-hours neurological consultations are supported by the group's dedicated teleneurology service.

Job Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive neurological care to hospitalized patients.
Round on the inpatient neurology service five days per week.
Provide inpatient coverage for two weekends per month.
Conduct one outpatient clinic day each week.
Evaluate and manage patients with stroke and other neuroClient conditions.
Provide follow-up care for patients recovering from stroke and other neurological disorders.
Manage general neurology patients in the outpatient setting.
Collaborate with hospital-based physicians, specialists, nursing teams, and other healthcare professionals.
Develop appropriate diagnostic and treatment plans.
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
Participate in a collaborative, physician-led practice environment.
Utilize the group's teleneurology service for emergent and after-hours coverage.
Schedule:
5 inpatient rounding days per week
2 weekend coverage periods per month
1 outpatient clinic day per week
No traditional call responsibilities
Emergent and after-hours consults covered by the organization's teleneurology service.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Completion of an accredited Neurology residency.
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Neurology.
Client Neurology/Stroke fellowship training preferred, but not required for experienced Neurohospitalists.
Eligible for an unrestricted California medical license.
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
Preferred Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be a Neurohospitalist or Stroke/Client Neurologist who enjoys inpatient neurological care while maintaining an interest in outpatient stroke and general neurology.
