Locum Neurologist – Washington – Clinic & Unrestricted Call - (DM)

Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM + Call
Coverage: Approximately 1 week per month

We are seeking a Neurologist for a combined inpatient and outpatient opportunity providing clinic coverage, hospital consultations, rounding, admissions, and unrestricted call.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient Neurology services.
• See approximately 16 patients per day.
• Perform inpatient consultations.
• Participate in hospital rounding and admissions.
• Provide unrestricted call coverage.
• Manage call/text requests remotely by phone.
• Handle approximately 0–4 call/text contacts during a typical 24-hour period.
• Perform in-house consultations when onsite.
• Perform EEG and EMG services.
• Collaborate with an existing Neurology team consisting of physicians and an NP.
• Document patient care using Epic EMR.

Qualifications

• MD/DO required.
• Neurology specialty required.
• Active Washington medical license required at time of presentation; IMLC candidates may be considered.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• Must demonstrate approximately 100 relevant clinical cases within the previous 24 months.
• Experience with EEG and EMG required.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Comfortable providing both inpatient and outpatient Neurology care.

Working Hours

Clinic:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Call:

• Unrestricted call
• 24-hour call coverage in addition to clinic work
• Preferred coverage of 3–5 days of call during the assignment week
• Approximately 0–4 calls/texts per 24-hour period
• In-house consultations performed when onsite
