Job description
We are seeking a General Neurologist to join a growing healthcare team in Springfield, MO. The ideal candidate will diagnose, treat, and manage a broad range of neurological disorders while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. This role also offers the opportunity to participate in clinical research and collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
Job Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat a wide range of neurological conditions.
Evaluate and manage patients with disorders such as epilepsy, movement disorders, headaches, neuropathy, stroke, and other neurological conditions.
Interpret diagnostic studies, including EEGs and other neurological testing.
Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans.
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
Participate in clinical research activities and support advancements in neurological care, when applicable.
Qualifications
Eligible for or able to obtain an active Missouri medical license.
Strong experience in diagnosing and managing general neurological conditions.
Experience interpreting EEGs and other neurological diagnostic tests.
Expertise in epilepsy, movement disorders, or related subspecialties is a plus.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient care skills.
Prior clinical research experience is preferred but not required.
