Neurologist

Join WCS Healthcare Partners in a dynamic and academically stimulating role as a Neurologist at an Academic Medical Center in the Greater NYC area. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the department director, a full-time physician, and a part-time neurologist.
• Engage in a combination of consultative and outpatient work.
• Conduct 1-2 half-day clinic sessions per week, with the remainder of time spent as a neurohospitalist on the med surg floor.
• Perform 5-7 consults per day when on service.
• Work a flexible Mon-Fri schedule with no evenings or weekends required.
• Participate in a rotating telephone call schedule, with minimal likelihood of being called.
• Collaborate with a neuroradiologist and other credentialed physicians for specific procedures.
• Contribute to a strong academic environment with medical students, externs, and internal medicine residents.
• Develop programs within movement disorders, epilepsy, and other neurologic subspecialties.

Requirements

• Active NY License.
• Residency Training in Neurology.
• Fellowship Training preferred, with willingness to perform generalist work.
• Board Eligibility or Board Certification Required.
• New residents graduating in the next 12 months are encouraged to apply.
