Job description
We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Neurologist for a locum tenens position with Desert Oasis Healthcare in Bermuda Dunes, California, covering for a physician on leave. This is a 100% outpatient role, two weeks per month. Please see below for more information.
- Practice setting: 100% outpatient neurology clinic
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00a - 5:00p, 2 weeks per month (weeks can be back-to-back or alternate); no weekends
- Approximately 40 hours per week when working
- Support: 1 additional neurologist and an APP at the practice
- No procedures - bread-and-butter neurology
- Volume: approximately 12 patients/day, about 6 new consultations/day
- EMR: NextGen
- Credentialing timeframe: approximately 2 weeks
Job Responsibilities
Manage approximately 12 patients per day, including about 6 new consultations daily.
Work Monday-Friday, 8:00a-5:00p, two weeks per month.
Document care in NextGen EMR.
Qualifications
Recent outpatient experience strongly preferred.
Active California license required.
Comfortable in an outpatient clinic workflow.
