Job description
We are seeking a Neurologist for a locum tenens position in Longview, Washington. This is a part-time (.25 FTE) opportunity covering approximately one week per month. Please see below for more information.
- 122-bed acute care hospital (Adult Trauma Level III/IV)
- Both inpatient and outpatient coverage; neurology is hospital-based with clinic and hospital privileges
- Epic EMR
- Average of 16 patients per day
- Practice includes 1.5 FTE physicians and 1.0 NP
Job Responsibilities
- Clinic coverage Monday-Friday 8:00a-5:00p during scheduled week
- Provide 24-hour call coverage (unrestricted/beeper); call/text volume 0-4 per 24-hour period
- Perform in-house consults, rounding, and admissions
- Perform required procedures: EEG, EMG
- Manage patients ages 17 and older (adolescents, adults, geriatrics)
Qualifications
- Active Washington state license required (will explore providers with IMLC)
- MD or DO
- BLS and ACLS required
- DEA required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- 100 cases in the last 24 months (case logs)
