Job description
We are seeking a Neurohospitalist for a locum tenens position in Spokane, Washington. This is an inpatient float pool role at a Level 2 trauma center covering specific date ranges. Please see below for more information.
- Inpatient neurohospitalist coverage (Providence Sacred Heart / Holy Family float pool)
- 12-hour shifts: 6a-6p (days) and 6p-6a (nights); coverage determined by provider preference
- 12-15 patients per shift
- Recent stroke care experience and up-to-date extended-window thrombolytic knowledge required
- Level 2 trauma center; Epic EMR
- Specific date coverage between September and December 2026
- 17 week assignment window
Job Responsibilities
- Manage acute stroke care including extended-window thrombolytics
- Cover 12-hour day (6a-6p) or night (6p-6a) shifts
- Care for 12-15 patients per shift
- Work within a Level 2 trauma center
Qualifications
- Fellowship required
- Recent stroke care experience; up to date on extended-window thrombolytics
- Active Washington license or IMLC required
- DEA required
- Epic EMR experience
