Position Overview

We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Neurologist to join a well-established outpatient neurology practice in West Nyack, New York. This is an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality neurological care in a collaborative, physician-led environment with access to advanced diagnostic technology and multidisciplinary support. The position offers a balanced Monday-Friday schedule with minimal call responsibilities, allowing for an outstanding work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a broad range of neurological disorders, including headaches, epilepsy, stroke, neuropathy, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, dementia, and neuromuscular conditions.
• Perform comprehensive neurological examinations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Interpret and utilize diagnostic studies such as EEG, EMG/NCS, MRI, CT, and other neurodiagnostic testing.
• Coordinate patient care with primary care physicians and other medical specialists.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Educate patients and families regarding neurological conditions and treatment options.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical best practices.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
• Active or eligible for New York medical licensure.
• DEA certification or eligibility.
• Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Fellowship training is welcome but not required.

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday-Friday outpatient clinic
• Minimal shared call
• No mandatory inpatient responsibilities
