Job description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Neurologist to join our growing outpatient healthcare team. Our multidisciplinary team is committed to delivering exceptional primary, preventive, and specialty care to a diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive neurological evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment while maintaining a patient-centered approach to care.
Review patient medical histories and conduct comprehensive physical and neurological examinations.
Order, interpret, and analyze diagnostic studies, including blood tests, spinal fluid tests, MRI scans, CT scans, EEGs, and other neuroimaging procedures.
Diagnose neurological conditions based on clinical assessments, cognitive evaluations, and diagnostic test results.
Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary.
Prescribe medications and administer appropriate therapies for neurological conditions.
Educate and counsel patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, disease progression, and preventive care measures.
Coordinate supportive care services and collaborate with primary care providers and other specialists to ensure continuity of care.
Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
Communicate treatment plans, follow-up recommendations, and home care instructions effectively to patients and caregivers.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
Successful completion of an accredited Neurology Residency Program.
Accreditation through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN).
Active and unrestricted New York State Medical License.
Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration and applicable Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration for prescribing medications.
Strong clinical, diagnostic, and patient communication skills.
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.

Requirements:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
