Job description
A well-supported outpatient clinic is seeking a Board-Certified Neurologist for a locum assignment starting June 8, 2026 through September 1, 2026. This is a great opportunity for providers who enjoy outpatient neurology with autonomy and no call responsibilities.
Position Highlights:
- 100% outpatient setting
- Schedule: 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM, 3–5 days per week (flexible)
- No call required
- Patient volume: 13–15 per day
- Strong support staff; MA-assisted workflow
- EMR: Epic
Job Responsibilities
General neurology care including headache, dizziness, and neuropathy
Migraine management (acute and preventive, including cluster headaches)
Basic epilepsy management (medication adjustments, safety counseling)
Management of trigeminal neuralgia
Follow-up on labs and test results with patients
Timely completion of documentation (end of day preferred)
Procedures:
Botulinum toxin (Botox) injections
Occipital nerve blocks and peripheral nerve blocks
Trigger point injections
Qualifications
Board Certified in Neurology
Active California medical license
DEA required
Comfortable working independently
Working Hours
5, Day (8 Hours) 9:00 - 16:30
Skills
Managing an established outpatient panel
Proficiency with Epic EMR and inbox management
Experience in private practice or community-based settings
Familiarity with prior authorizations
