Job description
• We are seeking a Board-Certified Neurology Hospitalist (MD/DO) for a reopened locum opportunity at a well-established hospital in Erie, Pennsylvania.
• The role focuses on inpatient general neurology care with no stroke coverage required, offering a manageable patient load and strong clinical support.

Job Responsibilities
• Manage general neurology cases (adult patients only)
• Handle approximately 10–15 patients per day, including 6–8 new consults
• Participate in 24-hour call coverage with approximately 8 hours of patient contact daily
• Collaborate with hospital staff and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC EMR
Qualifications
• Board Certified in Neurology (Required)
• Active Pennsylvania license or IMLC eligibility required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
Working Hours
• Coverage Dates:
• June 30, 2026 (7:00 AM) – July 7, 2026 (7:00 AM) (includes July 4th holiday)
• July 14, 2026 (7:00 AM) – July 20, 2026 (7:00 AM)
• Credentialing timeframe: 60–90 days
Skills
• Ability to manage inpatient consults efficiently
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Proficiency in EPIC EMR system
