Neurology Opportunity in Ashland, KY
A leading regional healthcare system serving eastern Kentucky and southern Ohio is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurologist to join a well-established and collaborative neurology program. This is a full-time employed opportunity offering strong compensation, excellent work-life balance, and robust specialty support.
Practice Details
Full-time employed General Neurology position
Primarily outpatient practice
Infrequent inpatient call with no after-hours call (teleneuro coverage after 5 PM)
Flexible schedule with seven weeks of time off
Established team of 4 neurologists with subspecialty expertise
EPIC EMR system
Clinical Responsibilities
Diagnose and manage a wide range of neurological conditions
Perform and interpret EEG, ambulatory EEG, V-EEG, and NCV/EMG
Provide outpatient care with limited inpatient responsibilities
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including neurosurgery and PM&R
Maintain accurate documentation and patient care plans
Support & Resources
Strong specialty support including neurosurgery, vascular surgery, PM&R, and neuropsychology
Certified Primary Stroke Center with advanced stroke care capabilities
Dedicated neurodiagnostic technicians
Large referral network across 20 regional hospitals
Service area of approximately 750,000 patients

Requirements
MD or DO degree
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
Eligible for Kentucky medical licensure
Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
