Position Summary
The facility is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Neurologist to join its growing outpatient neurology practice in Dothan, Alabama.
This is a 100% outpatient opportunity offering a predictable Monday–Friday schedule with no inpatient responsibilities. The neurologist will focus on diagnosing and managing a broad range of neurological conditions in a well-supported clinic environment.

The group is open to 2026 Neurology residents as well as experienced neurologists.
Essential Position Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient neurological care to adult patients
- Diagnose and manage conditions such as headaches, epilepsy, stroke follow-up, neuropathy, multiple sclerosis, and movement disorders
- Conduct neurological examinations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies including MRI, CT scans, EEG, and EMG (as applicable)
- Collaborate with primary care providers and specialists for coordinated patient care
- Provide patient education and long-term disease management
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical best practices
Qualifications
Education
- M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school
- Completion of a Neurology residency
Licensure & Certification
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
- Eligible for or holding an active Alabama medical license
- Current BLS/ACLS preferred
Experience
- Open to 2026 graduating residents
- Experienced neurologists also encouraged to apply
