Seeking a Neurologist to join a hospital-employed practice in Athens, Alabama. This opportunity offers a stable employment structure, competitive compensation, and the ability to practice within a single hospital environment.
Position Highlights:
Hospital-employed neurology position
Three-year employment contract
Practice based at one hospital (potential growth to 101 beds)
No requirement to cover multiple hospitals
Collaborative care environment with strong clinical support
Qualifications:
MD or DO
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
Eligible for Alabama medical licensure
Strong clinical and patient communication skills
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive compensation based on Southern Median percentile benchmarks
$50,000 sign-on bonus (may be paid monthly during the final year of residency)
Quarterly incentive bonus based on wRVU productivity for outpatient visits and inpatient admissions
Year-end bonus based on quality and patient satisfaction metrics
Relocation assistance up to $10,000 (based on receipts)
$3,000 annual CME allowance plus one week for CME
Full malpractice insurance with tail coverage after contract fulfillment
