A healthcare organization is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurologist to provide both inpatient and outpatient neurological services to a growing regional patient population of approximately 55,000. This opportunity offers the ability to take over an established patient base with significant demand due to limited neurological coverage in the region.
Position Highlights
• Established neurology practice with immediate patient volume
• Mix of outpatient clinic and limited inpatient responsibilities
• Minimal call commitment
• Opportunity to incorporate telemedicine into the schedule
• At least two weeks per month required onsite
• Bread-and-butter neurology practice treating a wide range of neurological conditions
• Opportunity to perform EEG and EMG studies (preferred but not required)
Practice Environment
• Strong community demand with an appreciative and underserved patient population
• Opportunity to lead and expand the neurology service line locally
• Ability to add advanced practice providers to support practice growth
• EPIC electronic health record system
• Collaborative environment with support from hospital administration and clinical staff
Candidate Requirements
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
• Active medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Interest in building and expanding neurology services within the community
• Strong clinical skills across general neurological conditions
