We are seeking a Cognitive/Behavioral Neurologist for a physician-only opportunity in Hackensack, NJ. This role supports outpatient services as part of a collaborative neurology group.
About the Opportunity:
- Hybrid or Remote: Not applicable
- Shift: Outpatient only
- Schedule: 2-3 days per week, flexible scheduling
- Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Setting: Outpatient
Responsibilities:
- Outpatient evaluation and management of cognitive and behavioral neurology patients
- Work directly with 2 neurologists and collaborate with a broader interdisciplinary team (~30 providers)
- No procedures required
- Effective collaboration within the multidisciplinary team
- Ensuring high-quality patient care standards
Qualifications:
- MD or DO
- Fellowship-trained in Cognitive Neurology and/or Behavioral Neurology
- Board certified or board eligible
- Active New Jersey medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Team-oriented mindset
- Compassionate patient approach
- Adaptability to changing environments
Desired Skills:
- Experience in a similar role preferred
- Advanced medical degree (MD or DO)
- Additional certifications in the field
- Proficiency in neurology-related tasks
- Interpersonal communication expertise
