A Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurosurgeon is sought to join a dedicated neurosurgical team in southwest Michigan. This is a full-time, hospital-employed opportunity offering a competitive compensation structure and a strong clinical support environment.
Practice Overview
* Join a collegial team of two neurosurgeons and three experienced advanced practice providers
* General neurosurgery practice with an approximate case mix of 75% spine and 25% cranial
* Flexible clinic and operating room schedule, roughly evenly split
* Access to 24/7 hospitalist and intensivist support at a Level III Trauma Center
* Neurohospitalist and neurointerventional services available
* Epic electronic health record system
* Opportunities to teach and interact with residents and medical students
Technology and Resources
* Access to the da Vinci Xi robotic system for minimally invasive surgical procedures
* Advanced O-arm surgical imaging systems
* Modern operating suites and comprehensive inpatient and ambulatory services
Practice Environment
The position is based at a full-service community hospital with more than 250 beds and a long-standing history of serving the region. The facility includes a large medical pavilion expansion offering extensive inpatient and outpatient services. The emergency department is newly renovated and supports a high-volume patient population.
The hospital functions as a teaching site with residency programs in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, and Internal Medicine, and regularly hosts third- and fourth-year medical students. Providers practice in a diverse, mission-driven medical staff committed to high-quality care, education, and community engagement.
Qualifications
* Board certified or board eligible in Neurosurgery
* Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Michigan
