Neuromuscular Neurology in CT
25 miles to Springfield
1 hour to Danbury
2 hours from Boston and New York City
Tertiary teaching Hospital, affiliated with the UCONN School of Medicine.
Focus on treating patients with neuromuscular disorders such as neuropathy, myasthenia gravis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), etc.
- Opportunity to work in the Neuroscience Institute - a large multispecialty and multidisciplinary ambulatory site
- Work in a collaborative environment with opportunity to develop clinical research
- Perform electromyography (EMG) studies
- Participate in the NCS technician training program
- Collaborate on the neuromuscular clinical council to develop neuromuscular care paradigms, advance quality of care initiatives, promote patient experience, and find opportunities for research and innovation
- Help develop neuromuscular ultrasound service line
