Dane Street is expanding our physician panel! We are seeking a skilled and board-certified Neurological Surgeon to join our team for Independent Medical Record Reviews. This is a fully remote opportunity offering flexible scheduling, allowing you to accept or decline cases based on your availability. Our physician panel is comprised of independent contract reviewers (1099) compensated on a per-case basis.

Key Responsibilities:
- Thorough review and analysis of prepared medical records
- Provide expert, advisory-only opinions regarding the claimant’s current condition and potential future medical needs
- Respond to clinical questions to support claims management
- Deliver clear, well-supported written reports within an expected turnaround time of 5 days
- No face-to-face interaction with claimants; this is a record-review–only role
Job Responsibilities
Prior experience with medical record reviews, IMEs, or peer reviews preferred
Strong analytical skills and excellent written communication abilities
Qualifications
Fully remote assignments with flexible, predictable work hours
No doctor/patient relationship is established, and no treatment is provided
Enhanced industry expertise in medical necessity, utilization review, and claims support
Expanded credentials as an expert medical reviewer
Fully prepped cases, streamlined workflow, transcription services at no cost, and a user-friendly online portal
