Neurology Opportunity – Community Health System Setting
Location: Conway, SC - Myrtle Beach 15 miles
Employment Type: Full-Time, permanent position
Position Summary
The Neurology Physician will provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient neurology care within a growing community setting. This role focuses on general neurology with the ability to support subspecialty interests. The position is supported by telemedicine services, advanced diagnostics, and a strong primary care referral network.
Position Overview
* Primarily outpatient role with inpatient responsibilities
* Standard office schedule: Mon–Thurs 8am–5pm / Fri 8am–12pm
* 36 patient contact hours / 4 administrative hours per week
* Protected administrative time
* Call: 10 days per month, supported by telemedicine and a tele-stroke program
* EMR: Cerner
Patient Volume & Census
* Average 18–22 patients per day
* Adults with a broad range of neurological conditions
Scope of Work
* General neurology consultations and follow-ups
* Diagnostic testing
* EMG, EEG, nerve conduction studies, Botox injections
* Telemedicine support for consults
* Onsite EMG technician
* Tele-stroke program in place
Compensation & Benefits
* Sign-on bonus: $30K+
* Guaranteed base salary (MGMA median range) + wRVU incentives
