The Neuro Hospitalist locums position in Oklahoma…
-Location: 30 minutes outside of Oklahoma City, OK
-Duration: December 2025 – June 2026 (potential for extension)
-Schedule: estimated 1 week per month
-Shift: Thursday, 7p – Thursday 7p (to include on-site 7a-7p + night call 7p-7a)
-Call: yes, 7p-7a taken from hotel
-Volume: 10-15 patients per day (to include 2-4 EEGs)
-Scope: adult inpatient neurology (rounding, consults, follow ups, EEGs), no codes
- Patients that are sent out: intra-arterial TPA, anything that needs to be clipped or coiled, large artery occlusion, RCVS
-EMR: Meditech
-Group: hospitalist admit, no advanced practice providers, also a back up neurologist on call for support if need be
-Hospital: Level II trauma center, 32 bed ICU, no stroke designation
-Required: Board certified (or board eligible if recently trained) with Oklahoma or compact license
