General Neurologist – Outpatient Opportunity near Gorham, NH

Location: Northern New Hampshire (Near Gorham)
Start Date: January
Assignment Type: Ongoing, Long-Term Locum Tenens
Schedule: 1–2 weeks per month | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

Opportunity Overview:
A well-established healthcare facility near Gorham, NH is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurologist (MD/DO) to provide outpatient general neurology services. This is a long-term, flexible locum opportunity with a predictable weekday schedule and no call responsibilities. Ideal for providers looking for consistent part-time work in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Office-based care for adolescents (16+) and adults

  • New and follow-up evaluations, medication management, patient and family education

  • Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests

  • Coordinating referrals to local specialties (cardiology, ortho, pain, pulmonology, sleep medicine)

  • Referring complex cases to tertiary care neurologists

  • Collaborating with PCPs and broader care teams

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must perform and interpret EMGs independently (without a technician)

  • Skilled in EEG interpretation

  • Ability to quickly obtain New Hampshire medical license – must be responsive in completing all steps (e.g., application, fingerprinting)

  • Must complete full payer enrollment

  • Board Certification or Eligibility in Neurology
