Medicus has partnered with a Level I Trauma hospital in eastern Ohio with an opportunity for a skilled Neurosurgeon to provide locum coverage.
Opportunity Overview:
- Level I trauma
- Schedule: 8 to 12-hour shifts
- Daily Volume: 1-2 emergent surgical cases
- Will cover emergent ED cases
- Procedures Required: Brain bleed stoppage, clot removal, tumor removal, trauma repair, shunt insertion or revision, spine stabilization and reconstruction, vertebroplasty and kyphoplasty, spinal fusion, laminectomy, and diskectomy
- Team Structure: 2 additional neurosurgeons
- EMR: Epic
- Must be board-certified
- Paid travel & expenses
