A leading healthcare system in Michigan is seeking a remote Neuroradiologist (MD) to provide locum tenens coverage. This role offers a flexible schedule with daytime shifts and requires fellowship training and board certification in Neuroradiology.
About the Opportunity:
- Hybrid or Remote: Fully Remote (workstation provided)
- Shift: Daytime only, no call
- Schedule: 2-3 weeks per month
- Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient reads, plus resident teaching
- EMR/PACS: Cerner, Powerscribe, transitioning to Sectra in 2026
Responsibilities:
The Neuroradiologist will be responsible for:
- Interpreting neuro-oncology, stroke, spine, and head/neck imaging
- Participating in resident teaching and mentorship
- Utilizing PACS/EMR systems for reads and reporting
- Maintaining compliance with hospital protocols
- Providing timely and accurate imaging reads
Qualifications:
- 3+ years post-fellowship experience preferred
- Medical Degree (MD or DO)
- Fellowship training & Board Certification in Neuroradiology
- Active Michigan or IMLC license
- Strong proficiency in PACS/EMR systems
- Excellent communication and teaching skills
Desired Skills:
- Prior academic or teaching experience
- Case log history in Neuroradiology
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
