A leading healthcare system in Michigan is seeking a remote Neuroradiologist (MD) to provide locum tenens coverage. This role offers a flexible schedule with daytime shifts and requires fellowship training and board certification in Neuroradiology.

About the Opportunity:

  • Hybrid or Remote: Fully Remote (workstation provided)
  • Shift: Daytime only, no call
  • Schedule: 2-3 weeks per month
  • Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient reads, plus resident teaching
  • EMR/PACS: Cerner, Powerscribe, transitioning to Sectra in 2026

Responsibilities:
The Neuroradiologist will be responsible for:

  • Interpreting neuro-oncology, stroke, spine, and head/neck imaging
  • Participating in resident teaching and mentorship
  • Utilizing PACS/EMR systems for reads and reporting
  • Maintaining compliance with hospital protocols
  • Providing timely and accurate imaging reads

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years post-fellowship experience preferred
  • Medical Degree (MD or DO)
  • Fellowship training & Board Certification in Neuroradiology
  • Active Michigan or IMLC license
  • Strong proficiency in PACS/EMR systems
  • Excellent communication and teaching skills

Desired Skills:

  • Prior academic or teaching experience
  • Case log history in Neuroradiology
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting
