Job Responsibilities
Conduct and interpret diagnostic studies such as EEG, EMG, and imaging
Collaborate with primary care physicians and specialists to coordinate patient care
Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with organizational policies
Participate in call coverage (1:3 light call rotation)
Engage in continuous quality improvement and best practice initiatives
Qualifications
Completion of an ACGME-accredited Neurology residency program
Fellowship training in subspecialty neurology (preferred but not required)
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
Eligibility for Illinois state medical license
Current DEA certification or ability to obtain
Working Hours
Full-time, permanent position
Outpatient-focused with limited inpatient responsibilities (varies by practice model)
Standard weekday schedule with flexibility for work–life balance
Shared call rotation with neurology colleagues
Skills
Proficiency in conducting and interpreting neurodiagnostic tests (EEG, EMG, NCV, etc.)
Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
Excellent communication abilities with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Commitment to evidence-based medicine and continuous professional development
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and timely documentation
Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative, team-based setting
