Full time
Join a well-established and reputable healthcare organization offering a Neuromuscular Neurology position with a flexible schedule, supportive infrastructure, and the opportunity to shape a high-volume subspecialty practice.
Role Highlights:
* Neuromuscular-focused position with the opportunity to build a robust subspecialty patient base, while maintaining a mix of general neurology as desired
* Flexible scheduling, primarily outpatient-based with potential inpatient opportunities
* EMG/NCS volume flexible, typically 4 5 studies per half-day
* Supportive staffing, with opportunity for on-site EMG technician assistance
* Involvement in resident and medical student education
* Clinical trials participation encouraged but not required
Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including history, physical exams, and appropriate testing to diagnose neuromuscular disorders
* Counsel patients on neuromuscular conditions and available treatment options
* Perform and interpret Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS) and Electromyography (EMG) procedures
* Utilize advanced diagnostic tools including neuromuscular ultrasound, autonomic testing, and interpret nerve/muscle/skin biopsies
* Monitor and manage cognitive or behavioral effects of neuromuscular treatments
Candidate Requirements:
* Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurologist with fellowship training or strong experience in Neuromuscular Medicine
* Proficiency in performing and interpreting EMG/NCS procedures
* Interest or experience in neuromuscular diagnostics such as muscle biopsy, ultrasound, and pathology is highly valued
