Epileptologist opening in Baltimore, MD

  • Baltimore, MD - Carroll County, Baltimore County, Frederick County, MD
Position Details: Full time employed position Approximately 10-12 outpatient visits per day with 2-4 EMU patients per week Level 3 accreditation with The National Association of Epilepsy Center (NAEC) Nurse Practitioner support Research opportunities Academic appointment Robust, supportive, and well-trained office staff with technical support from 3 other Epileptologists and a Nurse Practitioner Outpatient position with inpatient coverage Call coverage: rotating inpatient for days and nights Qualifications: MD or DO from an accredited medical school Fellowship trained or experienced Epileptologist Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology Ability to successfully obtain Maryland Medical License without restrictions Current DEA certificate and CDS license Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment New Fellowship graduates welcome to apply Benefits: Competitive base salary Health benefits Medical malpractice insurance 403(b) plan Professional dues Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays Medical Group Details: The health system has a breadth of sophisticated programs and services and a wide network of colleagues to draw upon.
